In late September of 2018 I purchased the HP Envy 34-b010 Curved All-In-One desktop. I have been using it now for a little over a year and have thoroughly enjoyed it. This weekend my two-year-old son climbed on my desk and caused the screen to hit a corner on the top ride side and chip the screen monitor. This spot is now getting very hot and a couple of bars have appeared across the screen at this point. It has also started flickering badly. I called HP Support and found out I was out of warranty and that the best thing I could do was buy a used one on EBAY and you it for scrap parts. They apparently don't sell parts for this PC. My impression of this HP went from very good to apparently a piece of junk. I have worked with PC for over thirty years. I have even built and sold a couple hundred of them in the late 1980s, so I can swap out this monitor. Unfortunately, HP want allow me to purchase the monitor to replace the chipped one. I have even seen on Youtube how to replace it, but HP will not sell me the display. Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
