I used to use some headset that worked via USB, but it was kinda old and broke on one side, some time after that i got the Sony WH-CH700N and some Samsung Earphones i have if i'm not wrong, the Sony headphones works via Bluetooth but these computers doesn't have Bluetooth, so i conected it to the headphone jack and they work but the speakers won't turn off.
I also tryed with earphones and they have the same problem just in this computer, i used an Acer computer that's kinda broken but still work and it didn't had this problem.
If i disable the speakers then audio won't come at all.
So far i tryed:
By going to Playback devices, turned on Show disabled devices and Show Disconnected Devices. And there were no more than the speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio). By double clicking it i went to levels and there is only realtek hd audio output.
I went to realtek hd audio manager and went to (i translated this, it is in spanish on the computer) device advance conguration, and selected the option below, which says something like separate all input conectors as independent input devices, and still nothing.
I tryed conecting the headphones via usb an it loads and shows up as unspecifyed device on devices and won't work.
I went to device manager and uninstalled realtek, went to the HP page to look for the versión my computer needed and reinstalled it, both the headphones and earphones still have that problem.
I also updated the audio drivers but they were already updated.
I can't think of any other solution right now so i ended up here.
I noticed this problem when i got to use the audio jack instead of USB port, i don't really understand this problem, the other computer detects when the audio jack is being used and mute speakers leaving the sound only on the earphones or headphones but this one doesn't and it's quite uncomfortable, specially when its midnight or something like that and i need higher audio.
