Zbook Studio G5
Linux

When I press the brightness up or down key in Linux, it gets detected as the mute key. This happens on my Zbook Studio G5 in Manjaro, Arch, RHEL 8 and Ubuntu 18.04. In Windows it works correctly. I've seen many people on this forum with the same issue, but none of the things said there worked for me. I'm trying to figure out if the problem lies in the Linux kernel (most notably the hp_wmi kernel module, or if it's a problem with the bios or maybe my boot options.

I have already tried updating my bios to the latest version and I tried numerous different options for the boot options "acpi_osi" and "acpi_backlight".

I would appreciate it if someone can help me on my way to understanding and fixing the problem.
