If anyone else has this model of PC, feel free to test for yourself as there are a number of reports of this problem on the web.
Using Chrome 81.0.4044.122 and the latest HP/Intel graphic drivers 26.20.100.7985
When I use Netflix or Spotify and terminate the application, the HP screen changes to a grey/pink speckled flashing screen requiring a reboot to correct. Sometimes, setting the PC into sleep mode and then restarting from sleep mode fixes the problem, but not always.
From other comments on the web it seems Hulu and Yahoo View cause the same problem but I haven't used these products.
Once you close the browser, the display crashes to the static snowy-like effect commonly seen in CRT Televisions of the 80s-90s when they lose a signal.
When I connect a second screen (LG screen) and run the browser on the second screen, only the main HP screen suffers the speckling.
Help!!! I've run out of ideas to fix this problem.
