Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I am really hoping someone can help me as I am getting absolutely nowhere. I purchased a new pair of bluetooth earphones a few wees ago ([edit]. Upon opening them up they connected instantly to my phone (OnePlus 6) with absolutely no problem but I use my bluetooth earphones 50/50 between my phone and laptop and when I tried to connect to my laptop by adding a new bluetooth device they are not discoverable at all. I have never had any problems connecting previous bluetooth earphones or speakers to my laptop so thought it may be a problem with the earphones. However, as I mentioned - they connect to my phone with no problem and connect to another laptop in the household so I am back to square one with determining where the problem lies. I have updated all bluetooth drivers, run both windows and HP diagnostic tools and I have followed all advice I can find online (including everything here which was linked from Cambridge Audio support https://pureinfotech.com/fix-bluetooth-connection-problems-windows-10/#fix_bluetooth_windows10_upgra...). I am hoping someone here can help before I need to try and return these otherwise great earphones. My laptop specs are below:  Model -  HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx OS Name - Microsoft Windows 10 Home - Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363
Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz, 1992 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Under my bluetooth settings in device manager it is showing the following: Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI) Intel (R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator
UE Boom (My bluetooth speaker which works fine)
