My problems started with no audio device-speakers not working after attempting to perform windows update. I have tried everything I have found here in the community forums and through a virtual agent. I have performed an audio component test which passed but have not been able to retrieve audio and the speakers appear to have been removed. Through troubleshooting multiple issues and running diagnostics I have done a hard reset, reset BIOS, uninstalled drivers and updated through Windows as far as it would let me. I have so many error codes and unknown devices from attempting so many different fixes. I have attempted to update drivers through Realtek, Intel & Microsoft. One error that I have received several times is "Database Registry May be Corrupt".
I have been working on this issue for several hours a day for going on three days now and I'm about to go insane. This is the laptop my daughter uses for school and sound is necessary for her virtual learning. Please help meeeee!
