Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8720
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I am once again getting what I suspect to be a false error message about my Yellow (952/953/954/955) Ink Cartridge.
I had a problem back in March where my printer was "rejecting" a new yellow Instant Ink cartridge but would go back and accept the old (nearly depleted) one. As a result, I received a new yellow ink cartridge on April 3rd and the HP Smart ink level still shows it as (almost) full. But the printer is now (sporadically) saying the cartridge needs to be replaced. The message can be "eliminated" if I cycle the printer off/on.
So what is causing the printer to generate this false message?
