Hi,

In the last six months, my HP active pen stopped working consistently. It was great for a long time but now the screen is no longer 100% responsive. The pen working then stops working and I have to wait a few seconds and then it works again or it does this thing were it "drips ink." Any time the pen gets close to the screen the pen leaves a dot even when not touching the screen living giving the effect of a leaking pen.

For a long time, I thought it was my pen so I purchased a new one for a third party but still have the same issues. I have been looking for solutions for some time now and I've updated my driver to the latest version. I have gone to the downloads page for my Laptop model, Spretre x360 Convertible 13-ac0XX, and made sure I had the latest Bios and updated that to the latest version, G.50, 12/12/2019. Is there anyone that has figured out a fix????? The pen used to be the best part of the computer and it was the reason for recommending the laptop to friends but now when everything has gone digital due to Covid it has been so frustrating to have my laptop not respond consistently to a stylus anymore.

Any help or guidance, at this point I would try anything?
