When using tools using the webcam, e.g. Google Meet, only the webcam of MacBook is picked up.

How can I get the built in webcam working from the HP EliteDisplay E243m when connected to a MacBook Pro?

Currently I have the HP EliteDisplay E243m connected with the Mac Book Pro via a HDMI-USBC cable
