HP EliteBook 745 G3 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently replaced the spoilt motherboard of my Elitebook 755 G3 laptop and upgraded it at the same time from AMD A8 to AMD A12 processor. After finishing Windows installation, then HP Support Assistant, a BIOS update was detected.

I now have HP N73 Ver. 01.19, 8/6/2017 release date.

Today, I just checked for updates using HP Support Assistant, which found no updates available. On top of that, as I wanted to check some parts, run HP Detect My Device. On opening the Software and Drivers Downloads page, I saw in BIOS section 2 entries:

HP Electronic Label Restore Tool 1.0.0.2 Rev.A 40.3 MB May 8, 2018
HP Notebook System BIOS Update (N73) 01.45 Rev.A 11.2 MB Jan 17, 2020

So the first question is, how come HP Support Assistant did not detect the 01.45 Rev A BIOS? The second question is this: Is it safe to run this 01.45 Rev A update for my machine?

I have downloaded the file, but I will wait for a reply before I do anything about the BIOS update. Thank you.
