Windows 10
product #: Product number 5QA38AA#ABA
I have been using this machine off and on for about a year. After the most recent windows update I have lost my wireless capabilities. I am unable to connect to any wireless internet. Network and Internet does not show a wireless adapter. The wireless adapter is no where to be found on device manager at all so I can not uninstall/reinstall/upgrade the driver.
I have attempted to install the latest driver (Realtek RTL8xxx Wireless LAN Drivers: version 2024.0.10.214 Rev.S) from HP support website but the driver does not install properly. It flashes through the command screen but no wireless adapter shows up. I have used HP Support Assistant to install the same driver and even though HP Support Assistant shows that installation is complete, I still have no wireless adapter on my device manager.
