Hi,
I hate updating bios, because of its sensitive nature. Indeed, my fears become true this last 2 times i updated the bios.
I don't feel like going through this again a third time ( i don't have heart for it ).
Anyway, here's what happens:
1 - Download the new bios update. Close everything and click it.
2 - Follow the assistant, the bios is updated
3 - Gets stuck at 100% ( clearing pending image ).
Right on the top, there's a warning to not shutdown your computer. So you can imagine my feeling of pressing the power button for the last 2 bios updates, and shaking of fear it would not turn back on.
These 2 times, it turned back on and the bios got updated.
Is there something i can do to avoid this? The first times i updated the bios since the purchase, everything went smooth and fast. Now i can't update it without freezing in the last step!
Model: OMEN by HP Laptop 15-dc0xxx
Product number: 4ML16EA#AB9
BIOS : F.14-07/13/2020
cheers guys
