About a week ago, we noticed we couldn't print to our wifi connected printer.  When looking at printer, it wasn't connected to wifi, so i tried to reconnect.  When i tried to rejoin the network it's been connected to for 2+ years, it failed with the infamous "MAC address filtering/No Filtering FAIL" Test Results findings.  I've never had MAC filtering on.  

 

I have a FIOS-G1100 router from Verizon.  Have had it for 2+ years and have not modified settings after initial configuration.  It has the default Fios-XXXXX "protected" wifi network and a Fios-XXXXX-Guest wifi network.  The printer was connected to the protected network.   When i try to rejoin to wifi, it sees both networks.  I can join to the Guest network without issue.  I can't join to the protected network mentioned above due to error mentioned.

 

Based on various posts i've found online, I've tried the following:

1.  Updated the WPA2 key on router

2.  Reset wifi settings as well as printer settings

3.  Per the MAC address reference, i've enabled MAC filtering on the router and added the printer to it.  Tried to connect while it was enabled with same error.  Disabled filtering and tried again with no luck.

4.  When browsing for available networks, instead of choosing the SSID, i manually entered it, then the password.

5.  I've tried wifi protected setup from/to the router using both the WPS button on router as well as trying PIN setup.

 

Need some help from some experts.
