Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On 10th August 2019, I had bought HP Spectre x360 13 inch convertible  laptop and it began to malfunction within a month of buying it.

At First, I noticed the heat. In the beginning, I used it sparingly as all my files were in my previous laptop so I worked mostly from there. However, when I started to work on my assignments with the new laptop, it would heat up to such an extent that it would nearly burn my skin to the touch, with the fancy metallic exterior only exacerbating the issue. And even though the fans sound like airplane engines during such time, they are doing less in terms of cooling than if I were to be blowing gently at the laptop myself. Furthermore, it has the tendency to spontaneously turn on by itself, sometimes even when I'm carrying it around in my bag, turning it into a furnace.

Secondly, there was a screen flickering issue. I had to get it replaced and received a new laptop on 15th September 2020.  Then there was the issue of it not able to multitask. The screen used to freeze if 3-4 Softwares/Programs were running together.  And each time I used to update the drivers and reboot the system. Or else if that used to not work then I had to contact HP Customer service. They always suggested temporary fixes. So it was a daily routine for me to start my laptop solve the issues for 1 hr and then start my work.

Once I had to work with the camera on the laptop, to record the video in presentations. The laptop used to decide when to start the camera and when to not.  And once it starts it used to record video only for 1 second.  I had contacted again Hp service for that they asked me multiple fixes and after 3 weeks of correspondence, that issue was fixed.

Then there was a persistent problem with the fingerprint sensor. I asked the Hp Customer Service Center to fix it and all other problems then they had asked me to back up all my data and install windows again. That took another week as they had sent the OS system in a USB Flash Drive. After installing that, I had an issue with the fingerprint as it displayed   "disconnect the fingerprint sensor" which is impossible for me to do. So I had sent my laptop for repair and I received it 20 days back. Still, the problem persists I am not able to set up the fingerprint now. To solve the issue I tried updating the drives. And rebooting the system. And also tried running the updates of the OS systems. Nothing works. I am fed up with this laptop. Even after paying a premium price for this laptop. I have to struggle to fix its issues every day. As I am a student and I need the laptop for running at least 3-4 software together. And this laptop cannot multitask. That literally is the only task for a laptop to do. There are many other unacceptable issues with the laptop. However, I believe the above examples sufficiently illustrate the issue. I need a refund for this laptop. This is unfair on your side to exploit your customers to such an extent. As the money spent on the laptop was my hard-earned money. Any ideas?
