RESOLVED. Installed drivers updates via Windows 10 System Updates and restarted computer. Also, restarted printer and it suddenly recognized paper was present. I have no idea how to mark this post as resolved....
My printer is new, just set up. It is fully connected and I can view it in HP Smart. I have paper loaded, but cannot print. I removed the paper multiple times and reinserted. The guide tabs on the side have been positioned/repositioned. Does not resolve error message "paper tray problem".
