Product: Elitebook 840 Series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Setting the password with this command:
BIOSConfigUtility.exe /nspwdfile:"new password.bin"
Now trying to clear the BIOS password with: BIOSConfigUtility.exe /nspwdfile:"" /cspwdfile:"current password.bin"
Also tried reversing the two options: /cspwdfile:"current password.bin" /nspwdfile:""
It's the same BIN file and I can confirm the password set correctly. But I get this error:
<ERROR msg="Unable to process command. Password is set, but password provided is invalid" />
<ERROR msg="BCU return value" real="10" translated="10" />
