Hello,
My initial problem is that my built-in HP webcam isn't working properly at all. When turned on (light is on) it shows a black screen for at least 2-3 minutes, then it finally it shows a frozen image, which changes to a new frozen image every 10-30 seconds. I don't really know since when this problem exists, because I rarely had reason to use the webcam on my private computer in the past, but now with the pandemic...well you know.
I installed all available updates (HP Support Assistant and Windows). Then basically followed all the steps explained here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/camera-doesn-t-work-in-windows-10-32adb016-b29c-a928-007... and here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03430151up to the point, where I wanted to install this driver https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-250-g7-notebook-pc/24381316/model/2438... manually. This led to my newest problem. When trying to install the driver I get the error: "The driver is not supported on this OS version (10.0.19042)."
I am a bit lost here as I'm not really tech savvy...not even sure if the driver is the reason for my camera not working...
Any idea what to do? Thanks!
