- This is a new laptop purchase and I am unable to connect to my workplace network. We use Pulse Secure and Remote Desktop to connect. I can easily connect to Pulse Secure and the connection is strong but when I take the next step to connect to remote desktop, the internet connection suddenly weakens and either won't allow connection or if connection occurs, the screen is frozen and I quickly lose connection. I have contacted my internet provider, emailed Pulse Secure and my department MIS tech said to contact Microsoft because they believe the problem lies with this specific device and a possible software issue.
- The firewall apps allowed to connect were checked and Pulse secure is checked for both public and private but there is nothing listed under allowed apps that says Remote desktop and will not allow me to manually enter it.
- I am not tech savvy but my go to experts are stumped and I remain unproductive at home on quarantine please help
