Hey all,
I'm a system administrator at a medium-sized animation studio, where we've been working remotely since March. I only started recently, but I've been getting myself up to speed on the various issues we have with remote desktop software (a combination of RDP, RGS/Remote Boost and Teradici units).
The issue I keep coming up against is getting Wacom Cintiqs - specifically the 1080p 22HD (DTK-2200) - to accept pressure sensitivity over RGS/ZCentral Remote Boost. Here's some of the steps I've taken to reach a working configuration (these are the same steps my coworkers use and - in most cases - it works fine. But there are outliers):
- Installed Wacom drivers 6.3.41-1 on both ends (Sender and Receiver)
- Installed ZCentral Remote Boost 20.1 on both ends (Sender and Receiver)
- Disabled Windows Ink in Wacom pen settings (Receiver)
We are using all of the default settings on both ends, with this minor exception to the Sender config:
## Load an EDID on headless Windows system with Nvidia graphics. Once this property is enabled ## this EDID will not be unloaded until the property is disabled. Rgsender.Compatibility.Displays.ForceEdidOnHeadless=1
I feel like we may be simply missing something here - the same configuration works for most of our users, but occasionally simply *doesn't* for a select few.
Any pointers, things you've had success with, some glaring omission I've left out?
Thanks guys.
