My Color Laser Jet Pro has worked fine for about a year. Now when I scan something on the flatbed, all I get is a solid grey background. It doesn't make any difference if I use HP's scanning software or, for example, my Adobe Photoshop's "import" software. It makes no difference where the output is directed, or if the output is pdf, jpg or whatever. It doesn't make any difference if I scan something from my computer, or from the printer's touchscreen - all I get is a solid grey background on any scan. To my knowledge, there haven 't been any recent software changes, and I have done hundreds of scans, so I'm quite sure I'm using the scan feature correctly, but I'm open to suggestions.
