Product: HP Probook 635 G7 AMD -0
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi!
just got probook 635 G7, with ryzen 4700u.
downloaded the HP BIOS and System Firmware (S84) 01.02.02 Rev.A which is supposed to update BIOS, USBC firmware and webcam firmware. I went through windows environment, it restarted and both BIOS and camera firmware were updated correctly. Instead the USB-C firmware (which should update from 1.2.0 to 1.3.0) remained on 1.2.0 version. So i tried to update from BIOS directly through USB key. Again same result. It seems everything fine, no error during installation, but when you re-run the S84 tool on windows it says that everything is updated except firmware of Type-C controller.
anyone can help?
thanks
Emanuel
