I ordered a custom Elitedesk 805 G6 on March 13, 2021 and I was give a April 29 ship date but now on order status, it says it won't ship until August 27, 2021. I understand that a customized product takes a few weeks longer, plus shipping time, but five months? I've already been charged the full amount on my credit card, but the product has not been shipped. I understand there's semiconductor shortage and high demand for new PCs due to the pandemic, but five months is a long time to wait.
And support hasn't been of much help, the rep I contacted told me that ship date shouldn't be any later than Late May/Early June and I should receive an update date by email or call about a week afterwards. It has been two weeks and I've got no update. Can anyone help?
