HP Recommended

My HP laptop will not switch on or charge, its been 3 days. I have had it for one year. I have had no recent changes or anything done on my laptop. It updates itself. I am really concerned, I school with my laptop and recently it has been tough finding ways to go to school. Please HELP me.
