OMEN by HP - 15t-dc000 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased "OMEN by HP - 15t-dc000 CTO" in Novemeber 2018 as a gaming laptop. I purchased it with an intention of using it as a secondary laptop.

The laptop was amazing, I was loving the design and functionality. Mostly it was packed in Laptop sleeve to avoid any dust or moisture running the hardware.

The laptop had an amazing battery life and over all usage until COVID arrived. I was recommended an update by HP to update BIOS for better functionality. **Disclaimer, I had no issues with the laptop or its quality or I never requested anything from HP. HP recommended me the update itself. As soon as the installation of BIOS was inititated, my PC kept running for 1 day continuously with black screen. **Second Disclaimer, I never touched the charging Cable or the PC was not at all touched or interrupted during the whole process.

Later on I waited for 2nd day, hoping that the issue will be resoled but it was the same. I googled online and asked HP support. They recommended me hard reset. After hard reset, the PC was able to start and work properly, except it was heating up real quick. I was able to play games and do the usual stuff on it ,which only last a week. One find morning during the same week I pressed the power button to find out the power light was blinking with 3 intervals and PC was dead.

Was recommended by HP and other youtube videos to disconnect the battery from PC for 60 seconds or so. I tried everything but it never worked. I was and currently am in UAE and the HP support in UAE was pathetic.

The Laptop was hardly used for 60 days from November 2018 till April 2020 until it finally gave up due to HP BIOS updates.

I wish I had not updated BIOS and not listened to HP.

Not receiving any support from HP. A few guys have promised to repair BIOS chip but they couldnt do anything to revive it back.

I request HP to either return me the money or supply me with a new motherboard. I am willing to pay shipping cost for that.

I would like to listen to HP's official response over this issue.

***Also I am not the only one facing this issue. The same issue has been raised multiple times on HP forums. If it was apple they would have replaced the complete machine, even if the warranty would have expired.
