Hi,
Printer is Officejet HP 2620 in nice condition.
Used as stand-alone (without computer, for copying and printing).
I bought and used a HP301 compatible cartridge b&w as the only cartridge because I do not print color.
I use the printer not often.
The printer worked fine with that cartridge for about a year.
Now: I copied and printed an A4 sheet, it worked fine.
When trying the next sheet the printer screen says; 'detected a not compatible cartridge' (or alike) and blocks any activity.
The only button it reacts on is shutting off....
I took out the cartridge and reseated it without cure.
What can I do to solve this problem?

Note: I trust the cartridge as it is from a well-reputed shop chain in my country, and declared to be compatible with the original HP301XL.
