Hi all. I know there have been numerous issues with the HP Envy line with broken hinges. I have the HP Envy x360 15t. Left hinge is broken. Screen is not cracked as of yet. I am just trying to figure out if it is just the top cover I need to purchase or if there is another part. The silver plastic piece on the front bezel to the left of the hinge is loose/broken as well. See pics. If you buy a new top cover, is that part of it, or do you have to purchase a whole new screen if that front lower bezel piece is broken? If so, can any assist with what parts to purchase?
HP rep: This is a question to others users in the community, not to HP itself. From the number of hinge issues, it is not something you all have addressed in any reasonable manner, and from what I have seen, charge a fortune to repair if no longer under warranty (which mine is not). No need for an HP rep to reply.
