I am running Windows 10, Officejet 3830.
I have not been able to enrol for Instant Ink plan. I have a HP smart account.
I attempted to enrol because Officejet connects fine to wireless network because it attempts to print jobs, but any print jobs sent to it come out as a blank page (even though coloured cartridge shows ink remaining - black is close to empty). Standard troubleshooting regarding print head cleaning etc are exhausted (have been tried but no result), so hoping it's simply a busted or depleted cartridge(s), although not being able to print any job initiated from the PC is pretty concerning. Print jobs were also initiated from Windows 8 PC with same effects and issues.
Officejet CAN print the colours (but not black because ink is low) on test page, but will not print from any Windows based print job that I initiate.
Web Services on 3830 itself cannot download info from internet to allow web-based enrolment for Instant Ink/HP Smart Subscription (it simply times out attempting to download). Attempting to enrol via HP Smart app gives "There was a problem finalizing your subscription. (GSS001)"
