I have an HP Pavilion 15-cs0058od. Its only about 3 years old and all of a sudden a few weeks back, I started having issues with the shift keys. The left shift key does not allow me to upper case keys on the 2nd row and the right shift key does not allow certain punctuation keys such as the colon when I do right shift key colon. Nothing prints. Is this a common issue after a few years with this model series.
The laptop is practically brand new as I mainly use my desktop at home and the laptop when I travel. However, have never had this issue until recently.
Could it be a bad keyboard that should be replaced.
FYI, I have performed the keyboard test and all of the key tested successfully under the diagnostic analysis.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
