Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 14-dv1000 (464V0AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Hi everyone,
I bought a new HP Pavilion a week ago and I'm having issues with the touchpad.
It will work for a day and then the next time I use the laptop there's no visible cursor and no touchpad functionality.
Under the Device Manager the I2C HID Device has a Code 10 error saying this device cannot start, a request for the HID descriptor failed.
To get the touchpad to function again I have to go through a combination of restarts and forcing the driver to update.
How do I fix this?
Thanks!
