Product: OMEN Gaming Hub
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Symptom: In OMEN Gaming Hub - Performance Control, fan control may not be responded correctly sometimes, either switch fan speed bar or Dynamic fan curve.
TS Steps/Workaround:
- Install this package: https://s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/hpcps.support.doc/sp138324.exe, and then reboot.
- In Task Manager, open Services, make sure all ‘HP HSA Services’ (HP Omen HSA Seervice, HP App Helper HSA Service, HP System Info HSA Service, etc) are “Start” in “Automatic”:
- Make sure Virtualization-based security (VBS) is disabled.
- From Search -> msinfo32 and open
- From System Information, identify Virtualization-Based Security Status
- Follow steps as below to disable Virtualization-based security
- From Settings -> Privacy & security -> Windows security -> Device security -> Core isolation -> Core isolation details -> Switch Memory Integrity Off
- From Control Panel -> Programs -> Click “Windows features on or off” -> Disable Hyper-V, Microsoft Defender Application Guard, Virtual Machine Platform, and Windows Hypervisor Platform -> Click OK
- Reboot system, and check Omen Gaming Hub feature.
- From Search -> msinfo32 and open
