Hi folks,
I've got a brand new company owned "HP EliteBook 840 G7" notebook working fine with my KVM switch at home.
To power on the notebook its lid needs to be opened and it would be very helpful, if this action could be accomplished kind of "remote" also.
So I'd like to know, if it's possible to power on this notebook after a complete shutdown, and keeping closed, solely by external keyboard?
Unfortunately I cannot verify this myself because the notebook's BIOS is password protected (and according to the company's IT guy there's just no such PowerOn-on-Keyboard feature).
Best,
Sloner
