Product: OMEN by HP 15-dh0015ni
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I had a problem with my Omen 15 sound quality resulting in popping or crackling noise.
I resolved the issue by uninstalling programs that might have an impact on the sound drivers.
The program that had an impact on the sound quality, resulting in the popping and crackling noise, was Corsair iCUE.
After an update of ICUE software the noise appeared.
The last version on their website that does not give any noise was iCUESetup_3.36.125_release.msi.
Last week I tried the new version, and the problem is still present. I still use version 3.36.125 with no sound noise.
