Product: HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer

HP WHY have you created the time consuming HP Smart that now requires one to create an account and log-in, which does NOT work, and no longer allows me to scan without doing so!!!    Please fix this or lose this HP "not s" Smart and let us scan directly, which was far more efficient!!!!!!!
