I have been unable to find any info on this whatsoever, so trying here, thanks! 🙂
My computer will not go into Sleep mode from time-out of not being used or ever by selecting Sleep in the Power menu on the Start menu (Shutdown/Sleep/Restart). The monitor does say 'No input signal' and goes to sleep, but the computer does not sleep; fans still running, all the lights still on. It seemed to work occasionally when I first got the computer a few months ago; the computer might run a few minutes, I assume to cool down, then everything would go off and the Power light would blink, all like I would expect. However, for most of the time I have had the computer I cannot get it to do that.
I appreciate any suggestions I can get. I guess the next step is to call the HP Support, but I hope to find a simple fix. Thanks! 🙂
