I just bought an Officejet Pro 8025e to replace my 6-year old Envy that just died. All over the box, on the pamphlet inside the box, and during the printer setup, it is advertised that I get 6 months of free Instant Ink when HP+ is activated. When I got to the last step of the printer setup it suddenly changed to 2 months.
My attempt to contact HP customer service through chat was unsuccessful, although it apparently opened a case file with essentially the information above. With no further exchanges, I received an email the next morning that said the case was closed, and the entirely unhelpful and irrelevant statement, "Please note that if materials are being sent to you, this notification confirms that these materials have been ordered." Um, what?
The useless customer service reply aside, my Instant Ink overview confirms that I have only 2 months remaining on my free trial. Can it be corrected back to 6 months?
