Product: HP Notebook - 17-ca0011ds

Can someone tell me which software I need to purchase in order to be able to do a remote desktop connection from my laptop to my desktop and from my desktop to my laptop? Can you also tell me if the remote desktop connection software includes Word or Excel? I had Microsoft 365 and it has expired.
