On the latest iOS version.
Reset printer 4 times, restarted iPhone. Resintalled the application.
Re Enrolled onto instant ink and web services.
Can only print in colour using the HP smart app. But even then the preview is black and white.
There is definitely a bug within the airplay driver for this HP printer.
Checked firmware updates , none available.
This issue has been going on for years and there is a similar post but this should be patched by now. Because the printer didn’t always have this issue. Apple has noted that it’s a HP issue.
Switch to Wi-Fi Direct option doesn’t help either.
I have spent over 7 hours trying to make it work.
