Lately, the laptop powers off without warning, completely off. It happened on 3 separate occasions and on two of those occasions it happened twice. I am looking into possible reasons, and it seems overheating is the main issue. The top right side of the track pad gets warm, but the fan is not constantly on.... maybe that is the problem.
The battery is fully charged AND plugged in while this happens. The machine is supposed to be NEW.

And the issue appears similar. Question: After the restoring BIOS section, it mentions "4. Disable Automatically restart under System Failure, and then click OK " Is this necessary when my machine is not restarting after it shuts down? It simply stays shut down.
