Hi everyone,
So I bought this gaming laptop early April. And last Friday, it suddently shut down and won't get any power ever since.
Between Easter and a ski trip, the effective use time was barely a week... and under no heavy load: I didn't even get to play any games on it yet. After upgrading all the drivers and whatnot, I only got the time to download and install some games...
With the HP Whatsapp assistance, we tried some steps:
-Windows key + V
-Windows key + B
-Remove internal battery cord and hold power button for 1min
Nothing worked so far, the only solution offered is a repair, in 20 days...
If anyone have any idead, I'll happily try them, so to not wait 1 month to use my PC...
The HP build quality seems somewhat worrisome, for a middle/high-end PC with an official price tag of roughly 2000 USD, I surely did not expect a dead machine after 1 week of close to no use...
Thanks in advance for any ideas !
PS: Other people seem to have the same problem too:
