I have a Designjet T2500 inkjet plotter. When I plot presentation color prints, the initial print looks great but the colors fade quickly leaving a washed out effect. I have read that the quick dry papers can have this issue and also that being exposed to the air can also accelerate the effect. This is my 4th HP large format plotter and it has the worst color fading issues of any that I have owned. I have older prints from tthe previous models that still look good. Are there better inks or papers that will solve this. It is distressing to see the presentation work degrade so quickly. I realize that pigment type plotters do not have these issues but my previous plotters were not pigment based. Any ideas?
thank you in advance.
