Product: Pavilion 27xi monitor

I have an HP Pavilion 27xi monitor, a few years old.  About a year ago a blue vertical line appeared and then disappeared on the screen.  After a while it has stayed there.  I have changed the HDMI cable, tried a DVI and RS15 cables and no change.  Hooked those cables to a different monitor and did not have the problem.  All drivers have been updated.  Sounds like a monitor problem but I want to make certain.  I will live with it rather than buying a new monitor.
