Product: HP Scanjet G2710 Photo Scanner

I have a scanner HP ScanJet G2710 which I regularly use for scanning document. In the beginning when I bought it (some years ago), I noticed that there is an option in the scanning software to scan negatives from the TMA which is embedded in the lid of the scanner. Unfortunately, when I finally decided to use this option (today), I see that the option is gone from the present version of the software (HP Scan and Capture) and I cannot scan negatives any more. What do I do? Which software can I install to use this functionality?
