I bought my gaming laptop this June. I have not used it much. I use it 2-3 times a week but I noticed that when I hibernate it, the battery drains. Just yesterday I put it in hibernation mode at 58% and when I turned it on today the battery was 45%. Hibernation mode is not serving its purpose. I am worried now that this is a new laptop that I can't even bring with myself during traveling and it always needs charging.
On my end, I fully updated my laptop for any updates for windows 11 including optional updates thinking it might help but it didn't. There was a BIOS update as well but that also didn't solve this issue. I contacted HP support through chat and they tried to solve my problem via remote access but the agent said that my battery is NORMAL and has no issues. I have run Windows 11 PC Hardware diagnostics as well but the results show that everything is normal.
I don't know what is the issue? I am not an expert in battery knowledge and I have tried my best to find out what the issue is but I am at my wits end. Please help me any way you guys can.
