Product: HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer

When attempting to scan or make copies from the top document loader, I do not hear the beep when loading documents and when either action is taken, I get an error message stating "The document feeder was not able to pick up the original. Make sure the document feeder cover is closed completely, load the original in the document feeder, and try again.

 

I have looked at the pick-up rollers, they are clear, no damage and do not see any issues with the machine.
