Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg2000 (4U8D7AV)

My laptop turns itself off and will not turn back on unless it is connected to power, the battery is at 100% even when it shuts down so surely not a battery related issue?? when it turns back on it demands a restart, then after it restarts again. when consistently connected to power and is running there does not seem to be an issue, any help would be great, i have tried looking on HP support but nothing really seems to fit the issue that I am facing and the support lines are only open monday-friday, thanks !!!
