Product: HP Smart Tank 5000/5100 All-in-One Printer

I cannot get the e1 error to go away in my new printer. I have done everything. It’s letter paper, it’s set on letter paper. I don’t know what’s wrong. I’ve been fighting this for two days and I am at the end of my rope.
