HP Recommended

I have an HP Pavilion HPE-410t desktop computer. It has a Bestec 300 watt power supply unit (PSU) - model number ATX0300D5WC (P/N 585008-001).

The PSU has died and needs replacing. What PSUs can replace this? Does it have proprietary connectors? Or can I replace it with any ATX PSU?

The one in the computer has a fan that blows out the rear of the case. Does it matter if I replace it with a fan that blows downward inside the case?
