HP Recommended

Hi, unfortunately i forgot my laptop Omen by Hp 17t-cb100 ids base model's bios administrator  password. i tried many things including putting a wrong password three times but did not find a code or something like that. i tried spare key and its not working, answered security questions of spare key and it says answer do not match. Searched forums and almost every one says you need to replace motherboard. Is there a way i can avoid this costly purchase and able to restore or reset or anything?
