Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

New ScanJet Pro. Occurs whether using the "bed" or the ADF. Documents scanned as PDFs come out with text "smeared" in the image. It can occur anywhere in the image (top, bottom, and/or middle). This doesn't happen when I scan the document as a JPG.
