Operating System: Ubuntu LTS

Hello,

I just got a OmniBook Ultra with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor. I immediately attempted to install Ubuntu 24.10 (also tried 24.04 LTS) but the installation process keeps freezing (at the install window).

Yes, this means I can boot off of a bootable usb stick, Ubuntu loads successfully (a very good sign), it successfully creates a new partition (which I can see if I go back to Windows), but it fails during the last step of the install dialog window (presumably during actual installation of Ubuntu).

Has anyone had any success in installing Ubuntu on recent HP hardware?
